In the rapidly evolving world of Pay for Performance and other outcomes-based reimbursement models, it is more important than ever for ACO’s and Medical Homes to leverage the right technology and information management solutions. In fact, the General Accounting Office (GAO) examined 15 public and private health care systems that integrate primary, specialty and acute medical care. Investigators found that EHR use is one of many strategies that integrated delivery systems use to support patient care (See the entire report here)

PracticeMax brings a unique philosophy and skill set to ACO’s, Medical Homes and other complex provider organizations looking to leverage EHR and Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology for their system. Rather than limit providers to a one-size-fits-all approach to selecting an EHR system, PracticeMax offers a choice of leading, CCHIT Certified products to choose from.

But the flexibility doesn’t end there. Our unique technology approach makes it possible for different providers with the same group or integrated delivery network (IDN) to use different EHR’s without sacrificing interoperability. PracticeMax handles the data exchange through our own health information exchange (HIE) platform for seamless information management across the organization. In addition to assisting with system selection and implementation, we tailor the selected EHR solution to meet each practice’s specific needs. And, to help ensure that practices realize the maximum benefit possible from their EHR solutions, we offer both initial and ongoing training and support, delivered by a team of skilled technology experts.

Finally, all of the EHR solutions we offer are certified to meet Meaningful Use (MU) requirements, so all qualifying providers who use our technology are eligible to receive MU incentive payments.
