May 21, 2009 (Scottsdale, AZ) -- Practicemax and MedaPhase announced the completion of a merger bringing together two leading providers of medical billing services in Arizona and Texas. The combined company will use the name PracticeMax, Inc. and will be the largest regional company focused primarily on the revenue cycle management needs of physicians specializing in emergency medicine and urgent care, along with certain other specialties. Both companies provide a wide range of premium quality outsourced billing and practice management services to their clients. The combined business is positioned to offer an even greater range and quality of services to physician groups in a number of specialties.
Rick White, currently CEO of MedaPhase, will continue in the role of President of the new Texas division of PracticeMax. Bill Carns will continue to serve as CEO of PracticeMax.
